How Internet Of Things Work

I’ve worked with a lot of tech startups who are working on innovative products and have hosted pitching competitions, hackathons and events. I always get asked pretty broad questions about tech such as “What is Internet of Things (IoT)?” or “How is IoT changing industries?”. And over the years, I’ve worked so hard to boil it down to something that can be easily understood.

If you google IoT you’d get a pretty unnecessary explanation of what it means, but you will also find some useful resources if you research hard enough. Before I jump in, note that all of the things I’m going to be writing in this blog are just some background knowledge I have from all the courses I’ve taken as well as all the knowledge I got from startups I’ve interacted with when I was living in the tech startup capital of Asia.
